List of the Mobile Surgery for Vet Clinics
OC-LA Mobile Surgery provides small animal surgical services to veterinary clinics allowing practitioners to offer their clients an additional option for select surgical services within their very own veterinary practice. We currently provide numerous select orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures including, but not limited to:

VERY IMPORTANT!!
- Please don’t use IDEXX, Sound, or other x-ray company software generated emails. We can not find your email later on, the day before the surgery date
- Please put a metal X-ray marker for the side marking. Also, you can use 1 inch metal ball next to the stifle or fractured site. So please avoid using a digital side marker when you take X-rays. This is important for pre-op measurement, specifically for calibration process with the orthopedic software.
Stifle
- TPLO using a locking plate and locking screw system from 10 lbs to 80 lbs
- Extracapsular over 3 lbs
- Medial Patella Luxation (bilateral or unilateral) using medial release, lateral tightening, and tibial tuberosity transposition
- Extracapsular ACL + MPL
Fracture Repairs (simple or complex)
- Radius /Ulna
- Tibia
- Femur
- Humerus
- Pelvic
- Metacarpal multiple
- Metatarsal multiple
* Dr. Song mostly uses locking screws and locking plate systems (from 1.5 mm to 3.5 mm lockings) for fracture surgeries.
Hips
- FHO/FHNE
- JPS (Juvenile Pubic Symphysiodesis; the candidate should be less than 20 wk old.
- Pelvic fractures
- SI subluxation

- Angular limb deformity
- Arthrodesis for too far distal radius fracture
Limb/Digit Amputation
- Proximal 1/3 femur for the pelvic limb
- Total scapular amputation for the thoracic limb
Head and Neck / Jaw
- Salivary Gland/Sialocele
- Mandibulectomy
Urogenital
- Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) for blocked cats
- Pre-scrotal Urethrostomy (blockage behind the os penis) e.g. Bulldogs
- Cystotomy
General Soft Tissue; Gastrointestinal Surgery
- Perineal Hernia repair using Internal Obturator transposition herniorrhaphy (bilateral or unilateral)
- Abdominal explortory +/- GI full thickness biopsies
- GI foreign body removal
- Intestinal Resection and Anastomosis (R&A)
- Anal Sac Tumor Removal
- Anal Sac Removal( for recurrent saculitis)
- Abdominal exploratory
- Splenectomy+Gastropexy
- Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)
- Liver Lobe Resection (TA-30 stapling device, LigaSure)
- Chain mastectomy +/- spay
- Subtotal colectomy for cat megacolon
- TECA-BO after CT scanning
Respiratory
Brachycephalic upper airway syndrome (BUAS) including stenotic nares plasty, elongated soft plate trimming, everted laryngeal saccule removals (using Diode laser and/or Ligasure Vessle Sealer)

Tumor Removals
- Mass in the difficult locations, e.g. soft tissue sarcoma, MCT, etc
- Rotational axial pattern skin flap
- Tail fold resection for the Corkscrew tails
1) Dr. Song will be bringing instrument, instrument table, LigaSure, electrocautery, flush suction, smoke suction to your clinic. All orthopedic equipment is operated with batteries and/or standard wall outlets. No Nitrogen gas tank is required at your clinic. From your clinic, he will need to get helps from a designated experienced vet tech for prepping the patient, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery of the the patient. Dr. Song will come to your clinic by himself without any his own staff.
2) No Neuro surgery, Total hip replacement, PDA, PSS etc.
3) Cancellation Fee: $500 (48 hours notice) It is strongly recommended taking deposit from your clients at time of booking the surgery.
4) All prices are subject to change based on the complexity of case.
